Apex court stays Sterlite company closure order

NEW DELHI – The Supreme Court Friday stayed the Madras High Court order that directed the closure of Sterlite company engaged in copper smelting operations in Tamil Nadu.

The matter was mentioned before the bench headed by Justice R.V. Raveendrana, and will come for hearing Oct 18.

Pak politicians blast ‘biased’ Babri mosque judgment as ‘terrible miscarriage of justice’

Ruchika molestation case: Supreme Court send notice to all respondents

Supreme Court notice to Ramalinga Raju on CBI plea

NEW DELHI – The Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to former Satyam chairman B. Ramalinga Raju on a petition by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seeking cancellation of his bail granted by the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
