Kalmadi aide’s CBI remand extended
NEW DELHI – A Delhi court Thursday extended the CBI custody of former Commonwealth Games Organising Committee chief Suresh Kalmadi’s aide Shekhar Deorukhkar by two more days. He was sent to five-day remand Feb 12.

Raja sent to 14 days judicial custody
NEW DELHI – Former communications minister A. Raja was Thursday sent to 14 days judicial custody by a Delhi court here.

Bihar lawyers strike against evening courts enters third day
PATNA – Thousands of lawyers in Bihar Thursday entered the third day of their week-long strike to protest against evening courts that were introduced in the state in December last year.

Davis case adjourned till March 14 after Pak FM seeks more time to reply on his status
LAHORE – Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has sought more time from the Lahore High Court to file its reply on the immunity status of double murder-accused US official Raymond Davis.
