US flood aid reaches Sri Lanka

COLOMBO – More US assistance has reached Sri Lanka to aid the thousands hit by massive flooding.

CONCEPCION – A 6.8-magnitude quake rocked the Bio Bio region in southern Chile but there was no damage or casualty, Xinhua reported.

MUZAFFARNAGAR – Depressed over strained relations with his wife who had killed herself earlier, a man poisoned his four minor children before attempting suicide here Friday, police said.
