IGNOU launches anti-human trafficking course

NEW DELHI – A certificate course in anti-human trafficking was launched by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in partnership with the home ministry Friday, an official said.

The course is aimed at accelerating the process of sensitisation, awareness and training of law enforcement officials and other stake-holders like prosecutors, government departments and NGOs.

Delhi civic corporation to track school dropouts

NEW DELHI – The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will do a door-to-door survey in the city to track the school dropouts here.

About 14,000 municipal teachers will be deployed by the civic agency and the survey will be conducted in 181 municipal wards Saturday and Sunday.
