Al Qaeda plans attack on German parliament: Report

BERLIN/WINDHOEK – Islamist terrorists have been planning to attack Berlin’s Reichstag building, the home of the German parliament, Spiegel reported Saturday.

Meanwhile the head of airport security at Windhoek airport in Namibia was arrested over a security alert triggered by a dummy detonator in luggage bound for Germany earlier this week, the interior ministry said.

Maoists release Chhattisgarh cops, keep weapons

Court disallows narco test of Babbar Khalsa terrorist

HOSHIARPUR – A local court here Saturday turned down a Punjab Police plea for a narco analysis test of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Makhan Singh.

Gunmen torch 10 NATO oil tankers in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Suspected Taliban militants in northwestern Pakistan Saturday torched 10 lorries carrying oil supplies for NATO troops in Afghanistan, police said.
