Seventeen killed in road mishap in Anand

ANAND – At least seventeen people were killed and three others injured when a truck carrying them overturned at Tarapur taluka in Gujarat’s Anand District today.

According to sources, the sand-laden truck overturned near Indranaj village, killing 17 people on the spot.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. (ANI)

Two militants killed in Kashmir encounter

SRINAGAR – Two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian District this morning.

According to sources, the encounter took place when security forces confronted the militants.

The identity of the slain militants could not be ascertained and the search operation was continuing when reports last came in. (ANI)

Babita Ganguly arrested in Madan Tamang murder case
