Otis’ Energy-Efficient Solutions Chosen for the World’s Busiest Airport

FARMINGTON, Connecticut, August 10, 2010 – Otis Elevator Company will provide 88 energy-efficient elevators,
escalators and moving walkways to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX),
the world's busiest origin and destination airport. Otis, a unit of United
Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), will also maintain the new units for five
years.
