Madhya Pradesh legislator held over youth’s disappearance
BHOPAL – Madhya Pradesh legislator Kamal Patel has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a youth who went missing allegedly from his residence March 5, 2008, officials said Friday. Patel’s son Sandeep is the main accused in the case.

70,000 cyclone-hit people in Andhra relief camps
HYDERABAD – Over 70,000 people have been evacuated and moved to 300 relief camps in cyclone-hit coastal Andhra Pradesh.
A majority of these people were evacuated in four south costal districts of Prakasam, Guntur, Krishna and Nellore.
