Parliament panel seeks upgrading of body armour for forces
NEW DELHI – As counter-terror and counter-militancy operations take an increasing toll on security personnel, a parliamentary panel has asked the government to upgrade the quality of body armour and provide them to all paramilitary forces deployed in combat zones.

Iran tests new missiles at war game
TEHRAN – Iran tested various types of missiles at a war game in the country’s southern waters Monday.
Surface-to-surface, air-to-surface and surface-to-sea missiles were tested at the “Velayat 89″ exercise, which started May 5 and is scheduled to end Wednesday, IRNA news agency reported.
