Winter recess for Kashmir schools extended
SRINAGAR – Winter recess for schools in the Kashmir Valley has been extended by a week in view of adverse weather conditions, an official said Monday.
“All government and private schools up to Class 12 in the valley will now open next Monday,” an official of the school education department said.

Nearly 20,000 Gulf students to take CBSE exams
NEW DELHI – Nearly 20,000 students from the Gulf countries will take the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations starting March 3 at 70 centres, an official release said here Friday.
