Goa pulls out play from Shivaji Jayanti celebrations

PANAJI – The Goa government was forced to pull out a Marathi play from events marking Maratha king Shivaji’s birth anniversary celebrations after right-wing Hindu groups claimed that it denigrated Hindu gods and saints.
